Concept Design
Bringing an idea too life is about creating an in-depth story, leaving no details left out
So many business founders start with an idea for a product or service and then mistakingly believe what they have is a concept and move onto how it will look and building where it will be sold. They speed onto marketing, then hiring without truly defining the far reaching and multifaceted concept behind the idea. There’s process to developing an idea into a concept and then a brand. You mustn’t skip all of the steps involved in the process if you don’t want to make expensive or disastrous steps in the beginning of your business. Time needs to be spent on bringing it to life, establishing its story, deciding what language it speaks and (most importantly of all), how to create a connection to its customers and the people who represent it.
Experience Design
Once the idea has been developed with the end users in mind and the personality, focus and language has been established, the work can begin on what the concept should look like and where it should live.
Physical and non physical spaces where the target market will spend time with your concept need to be designed and modelled to deliver the correct brand experience. Ways of meeting and exceeding your audience’s exceptions should be woven into the guest experience. So before anything is committed to the cost of these needs must be calculated and included into the business plan and associated forecasts.
